  • Congress Theatre, Eastbourne, section: Raised Stalls, row: T, seat: 20
    Derren Brown: Only Human
The raised stalls R -Y rise more steeply than the front stalls A-Q and give a clear view of the stage over the head of the person in front but at a cost of the footspace being to the back of the seat in front rather than being able to stretch underneath
  • Royal Albert Hall, section: Stalls J, row: 6, seat: 61
    Suzanne Vega
A good view from the tiered stalls circle
  • Brighton Dome Concert Hall, section: Rear Stalls (Centre), row: T, seat: 40
    Transatlantic Sessions
Often sold as Restricted View seat behind the sound desk but prominence of sound desk (if there is one) and sound engineers varies from event to event. There is a dividing wall between this seat and the front stalls making leg room slightly limited compared with when there's a seat in front.
  • The Anvil, section: Stalls, row: G, seat: 19
Seckou Keita Homeland Band with Rhiannon Giddens and Francesco Turrisi
An excellent seat in the lower tiered section, more or less level with the performers, and felt closer to the stage than I'd expected
