  • Broadhurst Theatre, section: Mezzanine C, row: C, seat: 106
    Cats: The Jellicle Ball
I think this seat would have a decent view for a traditional stage show, but with the runway staging of Cats: The Jellicle Ball it was not a consistent clear view of the action. I could not see performers when at the extreme front of the runway. I had to shift throughout the show to see between heads of people in front of me for most of the show. However, for this show there is action taking place all over the theatre for most of the show - including the mezzanine. Legroom is limited and seats are tight. You are right on top of the people sitting next to you.
  • Hudson Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: R, seat: 1
    Every Brilliant Thing
Aisle seat with great view. Seat is slightly angled and postioned so that the seat in front of you is not in your line of vision. While seated completely underneath the mezzanine overhang, it did not impact my view of the entire stage. Stage is much closer than it appears in my photo. I would definitley select this seat again for future shows at the Hudson.
  • Nederlander Theatre, section: Mezzanine C, row: A, seat: 107
    Schmigadoon!
Excellent view in dead center of the theatre. I was initially concerned with the equipment mounted to the front of fhe mezzanine in the left corner of this photo but it did not obstruct the view for this show. My 4 star seat review is based solely on view. Please be aware this is absolutely no legroom in this row. I am 5'5” and my knees were against the ledge of the mezz. Seats are also very tight and your are right on top of the people next to you.

  • Palace Theatre, Broadway, section: Orchestra L, row: Q, seat: 1
    The Lost Boys
This section is an elevated box still on the orchestra level. The seats are free standing chairs and offer a wider and more comfortable seat than standard theater seats. There is plenty of legroom. This seat offers an excellent view with absolutley no heads in your way. I was concerned that this section might be too far to the side, but it was not a problem. For this specific show you may miss a couple moments at extreme stage right, but it did not impact my experience. Mezzanine overhang did not impact the view.
  • Studio 54, section: Front Mezzanine C, row: AA, seat: 107
    The Rocky Horror Show
Lots of legroom, however there is a railing that will obstruct the view for shorter audience members. I am 5'5” and had to repeatedly lean forward to see over the railing or duck down slightly to see under the railing. I will not sit in row AA again but would recommend row BB in the Front Mezz as it is situated much higher than row AA and there would be no obstructions to your view. Also be aware the stairs are extremely steep in the front mezzanine.

  • New World Stages - Stage 3, section: Orchestra C, row: B, seat: 112
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
My second tjme sitting in this exact same seat. Perfect location for this endearing show. Lots of eye contact with the actors and seeing their emotional expressions this close makes you feel fully immersed. No obstructions or issies with heads in the way due to excellent seat spacing & configuration. Seat is perfectly situated between the 2 seats in front of you.
  • St. James Theatre, section: Mezzanine L, row: A, seat: 9
    Titanique
Excellent seat with great view. Much closer than it appears in photos. I was concerned I might miss action on stage right but for this show I could see everything.
  • Majestic Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: M, seat: 2
    Beaches
Excellent view as this section is raised at least 2 steps higher than the front orchestra. No obstructions. This aisle seat is up against a handrail post thay may be uncomfortable for some.
  • Longacre Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: F, seat: 2
Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)
Aisle seat with great view. No obstructions. Close enough to stage to see expressions clearly but still far enough back to appreciate the set.
  • Mainstage at the New York City Center, section: Grand Tier R, row: A, seat: 10
    Bat Boy: The Musical
Good view for most of show but miss any action that may take place to the extreme right. Center Row A would be better. Grand Tier feels very close to stage. Decent leg room, seating at other Broadway theatres is much tighter.
  • New World Stages - Stage 3, section: Orchestra C, row: B, seat: 112
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Second row dead center. Great view as seats are spaced and aligned so that you are looking between the two seats in front of you.

  • Imperial Theatre, section: Front Mezzanine RC, row: A, seat: 311
    Chess
Excellent full view of the stage with no obstructions. Front row aisle seat. Very little legroom.
  • Vivian Beaumont Theater, section: Orchestra LC, row: J, seat: 201
    Ragtime
Aisle seat with perfect view. Handrails did not impact the view. I was surprised at the small intimate size of this theatre Raised stadium seating insures great views for all. Rows are tight! I am short & my knees were in the back of the seat all night
  • Belasco Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: P, seat: 1
    Maybe Happy Ending
Aisle seat with excellent view. Last row in the orchestra but raised a step higher than previous row. Mezzanine overhang only impairs a couple of moments but doesnt really make a negative impact at this specific show.
  • Richard Rodgers Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: L, seat: 16
    Hamilton
Row is first row of stadium seating and significantly higher than previous rows. Perfect view with no obstructions. However there is no legroom due to the railing for this section.
  • Lyceum Theatre, Broadway, section: Mezzanine R, row: A, seat: 4
    Oh, Mary!
Perfect view with no obstructions. Very close to the stage in this small theater. Railing does not impair the view. Legroom would be tight for tall guests.
  • Lyceum Theatre, Broadway, section: Orchestra L, row: N, seat: 1
    Oh, Mary!
Aisle seat with great view. Seat turns slightly into the aisle & appears to set out a little farther than the previous row. Floor takes a slight rise at this row so you're also slightly higher than the previous row. Small theater.
  • Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: N, seat: 1
    Death Becomes Her
Excellent aisle seat. Great view with no obstructions and sightline feels right in line with the stage. This row is under the mezzanine but the overhang did not impair view, in fact I never even noticed it after being seated.
  • Studio 54, section: Orchestra L, row: D, seat: 1
    Call Me Izzy
Excellent aisle seat with great view. This row is on a raised level, so you're slightly higher than row C. Handrail in photo did not obstruct my view during the show.
