  • Grand Opera House, York, section: Dress Circle, row: E, seat: 19
    Death on the Nile
This seat is slightly off to the side but still has a great view. There is quite an overhang from the tier above, but it didn't matter for this production. There isn't a lot of leg room if you are tall but the seats are pretty comfy.
  • Theatre Royal Haymarket, section: Stalls, row: E, seat: 4
The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry
This seat is slightly off to one side so you can't see what is happening right in the back corner of the stage. However it didn't matter for this production. The view was very clear. The seats are reasonably comfy and the legroom OK.
  • Southwark Playhouse Borough, section: Stalls, row: K, seat: 14
    Beautiful Little Fool
This is a very small theatre so the view is great from anywhere. The seats aren't particularly comfy - this one is on the aisle so gives you a bit more leg room than the one next to it.
  • The Other Palace, section: Stalls, row: K, seat: 8
Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula The Sea Witch
There isn't really a bad view in this theatre. There is a good rake so you can clearly see what is going on. This seat is at a slight angle to the one next to it, so the legroom isn't great - but it isn't a big problem.
  • Grand Opera House, York, section: Dress Circle, row: A, seat: 28
    Prima Facie
Good seat with a really clear view. There is a decent amount of leg room and the seat is fairly comfy. If there was more on stage, you might miss a bit of the side, but no issues for this production.
  • Utilita Arena Sheffield, section: 205, row: F, seat: 4
Florence and The Machine tour: Everybody Scream Tour
Even though this is row F, there are no seats in front as this row sits above the stairs coming in. You do have a metal barrier in front which doesn't give a lot of leg room. It is also a side view, so you have to sit awkwardly to see the stage.

  • The Courtyard Theatre at Leeds Playhouse, section: Courtyard 2, row: J, seat: 11
Sherlock Holmes and the Hunt for Moriarty
Good seat with a really good view. There is a fantastic rake on the seating so easy to see over the heads of everyone.
  • The Quarry Theatre at Leeds Playhouse, section: Quarry 2, row: C, seat: 37
Sara Pascoe tour: I Am Strange Gloop
This is a great seat - right in the middle with a clear view. Due to the slight rise it is easy to see over the heads in front.
  • Trafalgar Theatre, section: Stalls, row: E, seat: 17
    Oh, Mary!
This seat has a great view of the stage. There isn't a lot of legroom, but the seats are fairly comfortable.
  • The Olivier Theatre at the National Theatre, section: Circle, row: A, seat: 7
    Ballet Shoes
Really comfortable seat and ample leg room. The seats are quite a long way up - it didn't really seem like Circle seats - more like Upper Circle really. The view was great though - the seat was off to the side, but it was easy to see everything going on.
  • Leeds Grand Theatre, section: Stalls, row: K, seat: 6
    Miss Saigon
This is slightly off to one side, but you still have a really good view of the stage due to the rake on the seating. Comfy and OK leg room.
  • Garrick Theatre, section: Stalls, row: J, seat: 8
    The Producers
Great view and fabulous sound. Legroom is OK and the seats are fairly comfy.

    Dear England
This seat is really too close! It is the very front row of the theatre and you have to look up to see the actors on the stage. That said, it does have a great view and excellent leg room.
  • Trafalgar Theatre, section: Stalls, row: C, seat: 1
    Clarkston
Great seat. Really close to the stage and on the end of the row so you have plenty of room for your legs. A really clear view of everything
  • Harrogate Theatre, section: Stalls, row: E, seat: 17
Maisie Adam tour: Franks Fund Comedy Gala
Really close to stage and slightly off to one side. Great view. OK leg room
  • City Varieties Music Hall, section: Stalls, row: G, seat: 8
    Chris McCausland tour: Yonks!
Great seat - really central and not too close to the stage but close enough to see facial expressions. Reasonable leg room too.
  • Manchester Opera House, section: Circle, row: E, seat: 22
    13 Going on 30
This seat is fairly central with a great view of the stage. It's also on the aisle. OK legroom and fairly comfortable.
  • ABBA Arena, section: G, row: G, seat: 32
    Abba tour: ABBA Voyage
The seat is really good - fairly comfy and plenty of legroom. This is also on the aisle It has a great view of the stage - and give a fantastic view of the light show. I wouldn't like to be much closer as you would miss such a lot.
  • Peacock Theatre, section: Stalls, row: P, seat: 15
    Murmuration Level 2
This seat has a great view - very central. Also OK legroom and fairly comfortable. Would certainly sit here again.
  • Buxton Opera House, section: Dress Circle, row: B, seat: 7
    Blood Brothers
Quite a good view - it is off to one side but you can see everything very clearly. The leg room isn't great and is isn't very comfortable.
