    The Notebook
Good seat! Close with nice sight lines.
  • Ahmanson Theatre, section: Mezzanine, row: A, seat: 11
    Kim's Convenience
This is a great seat. Nice oveirview of the stage with no one in front of you. The ledge in front is not distracting at all. I personally always want to be closer but front row of the mezzanine is a great second choice.
  • Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center, section: Orchestra R, row: H, seat: 303
    Monty Python's Spamalot
Good sight lines and close enough to pick up facial expressions.
  • Potiker Theatre, section: Orch Center, row: C, seat: 116
    The Recipe
This theatre has stadium seating which helps with sight lines. I loved being close and could see everything perfectly!
  • Mark Taper Forum, section: Floor, row: G, seat: 3
    Here Lies Love
Fairly cenetred and stadium seating, can't ask for more! The bar in this picture did not distract me during the show at all. Such a great view!
  • Pasadena Playhouse, section: Orchestra, row: A, seat: 17
    Amadeus
I loved this view, I didn't love the seat. The seat was was broken and I had to put a blanket behind me to keep me upright. I notified an usher so hopeully it will be fixed for future shows. The view was perfect. Very close with a few scenes being practcally in my lap. I like this type of experience but some may not so buyer beware. This picture is from curtain call so you can get a better idea of how deep the stage is and a true view from this seat. It was taken while still sitting.

  • David Geffen Hall, section: Orchestra R, row: C, seat: 2
    Jane Eyre
I really loved this seat. It's on the aisle so there was no obstruction looking center and I loved being so close. The stage was high though so some people may not like that.
  • John Golden Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: L, seat: 111
    Operation Mincemeat
Perfect seat! There is a decent rake and the seats are staggered so I had a great view.
  • Stage 1 at the New York City Center, section: Main, row: D, seat: 102
    Bigfoot! The Musical
Great seat! It's not a big theatre but being in the main section is preferred.
  • Mainstage at the New York City Center, section: Mezzanine L, row: G, seat: 27
    High Spirits
Not a bad seat for the price. The balcony overhang does not obstruct your view but a tall person in front of you could. A little closer and more center would be prefered.
  • Classic Stage Company, section: Orch, row: A, seat: 309
    Marcel on the Train
Some might feel the stage was a little high being in the front row but I thought it was perfect. It's a small theatre and the actors play to all side so there really is no bad seat.
  • Circle in the Square Theatre, section: Floor (Even), row: C, seat: 206
    Just In Time
Great seat! Perfect position to see both stages and Jonathan interacts with the person on the aisle in this row.

  • Circle in the Square Theatre, section: Floor (Even), row: SR, seat: 18
    Just In Time
Great view and worth the $40 rush ticket but it is standing only.
  • Daryl Roth Theatre, section: Orchestra, row: F, seat: 6
    Pen Pals
Seat is pretty close to center of the theatre and a great view in this small venue.
  • Daryl Roth Theatre, section: Orchestra, row: N, seat: 6
    Pen Pals
It's a very small theatre so there really isn't a bad view but this was the last row and one seat from the wall. The wall didn't obstruct the view but it did make the seat feel a little clausterphobic. The armrest on the left was also broken off.
  • Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center, section: Orchestra C, row: G, seat: 209
    Broadway Season Reveal
A perfect seat! Centered and with a nice rake providing no obstructions. Also, this seat is staggered perfectly against the row in front.
  • La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, section: Balcony, row: JJ, seat: 39
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street
Second to last row in the theatre proving why this was only an $18 ticket. It was nice getting an overview of the stage but the actors were nothing more than blurry shapes. The seats were raised stadium style but still did not provide good sight lines to the front of the stage. I had a head in front of me but even without that obstruction the steepnesss of the balcony prevents you from seeing the front of the stage clearly. Worth the $18 ticket but in the future I will pay more to be closer.
  • Myron's Cabaret Jazz at The Smith Center, section: Mezz, row: 223, seat: A
Cheyenne Jackson tour: Mid Life Torso Tour
Great view of the stage! The seats around the high top table are moveable so you can position yourself perfectly. There is a vertical bar to the left of this table so it sould be distracting for some but it didn't interfere with my view.
  • Ahmanson Theatre, section: Orchestra, row: J, seat: 43
Ben Platt tour: Live at the Ahmanson
For this show, this seat was great. Ben stayed mostly in the center. But at the end he introduced his musicians and I realized they were on the left of the stage the whole time. If this was a full production show a lot would be missed. Also, there is very little rise in the orchestra which means your view will be blocked if tall people sit in front of you. But this a nice distance to the stage so depending on the show, this could be a great seat.
  • Lyric Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: K, seat: 17
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Great seat! This is the first row of the section so lots of leg room and no heads directly in front of you.
