  • Scotiabank Saddledome, section: 201, row: 9, seat: 13
    Ottawa Charge vs Toronto Sceptres
Great view of the game/ice. Home shoots twice and seat is on the aisle.
  • Scotiabank Saddledome, section: 201, row: 9, seat: 12
    Ottawa Charge vs Toronto Sceptres
Good view of the ice and the game. Home shoots twice.
  • Jenny Belzberg Theatre at the Banff Centre, section: Lower Orchestra Centre, row: C, seat: 10
    The Debaters tour: Holiday Tour
Fabulous seat (third row, third seat in from the aisle)
  • Stage 1 at the New York City Center, section: Main, row: B, seat: 105
    Poor Yella Rednecks
Rush ticket made for an amazing centrally-located third-row seat: excellent view, awesome sound, all around fabulous. Would happily sit here again. :)
  • Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: W, seat: 16
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street
Same-day ticket bought from box office (not rush). Mezzanine overhang didn't impact enjoyment of show; could see the entire moon in the background just fine. Quite a ways back but still a great seat.
  • Music Box Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: AA, seat: 110
    Purlie Victorious
Lottery win put me front row almost dead centre. Had a speaker & a stage light right in front of me (as in pic) but they weren't distracting. A surprisingly really good seat; was super close to the cast and neck crick factor (I am 5 ft 7) wasn't too bad

  • James Earl Jones Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: O, seat: 4
    Gutenberg! The Musical!
Box office rush ticket with a great view (still able to read the labels on Gad and Rannells' hats!). Mezzanine overhang didn't affect enjoyment of this show at all.
  • Nederlander Theatre, section: Mezzanine L, row: C, seat: 25
    Shucked
Lottery win ticket, so a somewhat skewed view was not a complete surprise. That being said, the view was quite good (as seen in the pic) and I don't recall missing out on anything important happening stage right.
  • Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, section: Main Floor C, row: AA, seat: 41
Fabulous seat! Excellent view and sound but far enough away to dodge being the subject of crowdwork. For this show, four rows of folding chairs had been installed in front of row AA.
  • Commonwealth Bar & Stage, section: Mid-floor, row: 11
Randy Feltface tour: Feltopia World Tour
General admission-style seating within row ranges provided at the venue. Seat was on the aisle, right at the back of the mid-floor seating. The post was kind of annoying as it blocked a clear view of both the first act and the headlining comedian.
  • John Golden Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: C, seat: 111
    The Shark is Broken
Excellent view, though can't see the coins on the table during one scene, but that's the only (minor) downside.
  • L'Olympia De Montréal, section: Orchestra Centre, row: D, seat: 15
    Paul Taylor tour: Bisoubye X
Great view and sound, though a bit farther back than might be imagined for row D

  • Salle Pierre-Mercure, section: Orchestra, row: B, seat: 30
Sugar Sammy tour: You're Gonna Rire 2
Great seat in the fourth row with excellent view and fabulous sound
  • Centre Bell, section: 301, row: B, seat: 10
    Montreal Canadiens vs Calgary Flames
Great seat for an overview of the game and the festivities between game periods and during breaks.
  • Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: F, seat: 17
    Life of Pi
Still missed out on the projections on the stage but had a better view of the action. Great sound and the left box overhang wasn't too distracting. (Shuffled from row C at intermission.)
  • Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: G, seat: 21
    Life of Pi
From this seat, I was at eye level with the stage, but the left box overhang was distracting. (Shuffled from row C at intermission.)
  • Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: C, seat: 5
    Life of Pi
Really close but a skewed view since the stage is so high, so couldn't see the effects projected on the stage and had a bit of a cricked neck. (Won ticket in a rush).
  • Hudson Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: M, seat: 107
Alex Edelman: JUST FOR US , Alex Edelman
    Excellent view and great sound
  • Belasco Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: A, seat: 6
    Good Night, Oscar
Great sound but view a little skewed as it's the second row on the far house right. Could not see Sean Hayes when he played the piano, though. (Ticket won in a lottery.)
  • Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: R, seat: 105
    Parade
The seat is technically "partially obstructed" as it's adjacent to the sound booth, but that wasn't a problem except for a few times there was action extremely downstage right on the stage extension. Great lines of sight otherwise and excellent sound.
